Meeting was called to order by Dan Gargas at 11:55 a.m.

Secretary’s Report:
T. Moore moved, E. Sellers seconded, to accept the Secretary’s Report of July and August. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report:
Hold August report until next Board meeting.

Fall Seminar:
D. Gargas/T. Monea
Residential seminar scheduled for October 28, 2004 (1-day)

Education:
October 1, 2 and 3 – Family Code
Details to be announced.

Membership:
D. Gargas reported there are 212 members as of August 2004.

C. Huber/D. Gargas
No report.

By-Laws:
No report.

Golf Outing:
T. Moore/C. Tanneyhill
The golf outing was a great success. The FBOA thanked T. Moore, C. Tanneyhill and Diane for a job well done. Total income, after expenses, was $2,194.

Christmas Party:
E. Sellers
Scheduled for Thursday, December 16, 2004. Scheduled to appear are the “64’s”, a Beatles tribute band. Cost is $35.00/couple; $25.00 for single.

New Business:
Nominations for the 2005 Board of Directors are now being accepted. Please submit names for approval.

Scholarships: C. Tanneyhill.
Three, $500.00 scholarships will be awarded.
Motion was made by E. Sellers; seconded by T. Conners. Motion carried.

Approve waiver of golf outing fee for T. Moore.
Motion was made by T. Monea; seconded by T. Conners. Motion carried.

Promotions: T. Conners
Approve the “concept” of Protecting the Family’s Life Safety” in the advertisement for TV commercial.
Motion was made by T. Monea; seconded by T. Moore. Motion carried.

Radio advertisement will also be reviewed.
