ZONING INSPECTOR

Part Time Position

 

The City of Munroe Falls, OH is seeking a Zoning Inspector is principally responsible for the inspection of properties within the City of Munroe Falls in accordance with the Zoning Codes and the enforcement of the Zoning Code.

 

Major Duties:

1.      Inspection of properties within the City of Munroe Falls in accordance with the Zoning Codes and the enforcement of the Zoning Code.

2.      Knowledge of permitting practices.

3.      Compliance with codes, ordinances, conditions of approval and resolutions in planning, zoning and related areas.

4.      Coordinates joint code enforcement activities with other City departments.

5.      Prepare and present information to the City Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals.

6.      Maintain a citywide nuisance abatement monitoring system for code enforcement cases.

7.      Perform related work as required.

 

License:

Valid Ohio Commercial Driver’s License, Class A would be a plus.

 

Experience:

A minimum four years of full-time, relevant, municipal code enforcement experience, including public contact experience, requiring field investigation and enforcement of planning and zoning codes.
